Your struggles will define you. How you swim through it or as Bukowski puts it “What matters most is how well you walk through the fire” because “Sometimes life won’t leave you alone.” Sometimes life is tough enough not to even give you a forked road.
I think the evil lies in staying in the comfort zone idly. That 3 seconds in the paint.
Comfort zones are meant to be expanded. Otherwise, suffer mental atrophy.
I’ve tasted a life wasted, I’m never going back again.
Life is about living. Breathing in rhythm and feeling safe. But love is about risking. Risk it all with all your faith.
If you don’t face challenges for the fear of struggle, then run far away, as far within. Remember though that physical scars won’t let you forget but the mental scars of could’ve beens will forever haunt you.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not asking you to be reckless, maybe just a little fearless. Trust all the mechanisms in life to yield the best results. We are pieces of a bigger picture… Running like clockwork… Waiting for no one… Do take your time, but not too long.
If you shall perish in the middle of a struggle, you would’ve lived a fuller life than by those who lived long stepping around it.
