Inflate My Time

Music: chaotic vibrating peace
I wish to inflate my time
A price to pay for waking
Sluggishly
Every blink burns 3
Minutes closer to an agreed line
One of the many crossed out cosines

You keep fighting
An ally
You seem confused
Or refuse
To understand
The side you’re on
Is not a choice or
A birthright
Assigned by the randomness that includes life

How the universe operates
Expanding as it conflates
Where you stand now
May not be where you end up
Peaks, valleys and hiccups
So why don’t you shoot for the stars
Crash on the moon
And realize
Gravity may seem inevitable
But it’s temporary, and soon

You won’t be stuck where I’m
King, But while you’re here
Might as well make these be worth each other’s time
